Product Engineer turning ambiguous product problems into scoped, reliable software.

I am Lukas Werner, a product-minded software engineer with a strong frontend foundation in TypeScript, React Native/Expo, React, Vue, and Nuxt, and growing range across product discovery, APIs, analytics, testing, delivery, and backend work.
I work best where the problem is still a little messy: scoping MVPs, turning customer feedback into product decisions, shipping end-to-end features, and keeping the result measurable and dependable after launch. I am especially interested in end-to-end and backend ownership.

A quick route into proof, not just promises
The strongest evidence is in work where product decisions, implementation, and outcomes had to stay tied together.
DAIT: meeting people beyond the swipe
As co-founder and product engineer, I cut the MVP to a smaller set of testable flows, shipped the App Store app in React Native/Expo, and used PostHog plus Sentry to improve the beta experience with real usage data.

Startup ownership, consulting structure, product delivery
A structured view of the through-line across founder work, consulting, and product teams: product decisions, architecture, testing strategy, APIs, and end-to-end delivery with frontend as the strongest craft.
Architecture Β· Testing strategy Β· Cross-stack support
Frontend depth is the entry point, but the value is broader product engineering.
Reduce broad product ideas into testable flows, sharper priorities, and software a team can realistically ship.
Lead implementation where I am strongest in TypeScript, React Native/Expo, React, Vue, and Nuxt, while stepping into APIs, Firebase, and specific backend work when delivery needs it.
Use PostHog, Sentry, testing strategy, CI, and pragmatic engineering standards to learn from real usage and keep the product dependable.
The thread across startup, consulting, and research
Different contexts, same recurring role: clarify the problem, make the product more usable, and deliver software that can hold up in practice.
Wolf-Waagen
I owned customer-facing product development from MVP to a connected analytics platform with 1200+ MAU, working from customer feedback into scoped product changes.
Bridgestone Mobility Solutions
I shipped within a large React product, helped deliver a lean order-tracking MVP, and contributed to a specific Spring Boot/Kafka Streams service as part of cross-stack delivery.
H&D
I helped win a major Nuxt-based platform rewrite, shaped engineering priorities, introduced a pragmatic testing strategy, and supported a Vue plus Rust/Axum security-related flow.
Computer science background
My academic work in C++, Python, Java, and HPC still shows up in how I reason about systems, tradeoffs, and technical rigor.
Recent notes
A selection of recent writing on engineering workflows, Expo and frontend work, testing, and product-minded implementation.
If you need a product engineer who can scope, ship, and tighten the product, I would be glad to talk.
Especially for mobile and web products that need strong frontend execution, clearer product decisions, and more end-to-end delivery momentum.
