Servus! Hola! Hi!
I'm Lukas.
I used to hack iPhones in the days of the earlier 2010's, selling so-called tweaks on the inofficial Cydia store modifying iOS' functionality. This actually bought me my first MacBook.
As an early co-founder I accompanied during final school and university days Wolf Waagen GmbH, refining ideas together with its founders Richard and Christian Wolf and sculpting the frontend web app for beehive analysis with then-modern BackboneJS and later Vue 2. Now they are european market leader. Cool huh?
University introduced me to High Performance Computing (HPC), where I once proudly blocked half of Germany's biggest supercomputer SuperMUC Phase 2 for 24 hours running fluid simulations for my award-winning Master's thesis — later published in the International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids. Built with the waLBerla framework in C++, because I like both performance and temporarily inconveniencing entire computing centers.
After university and back in the private space, I started off again with professional frontend development with Bridgestone Mobility Solutions using React. This taught me all things frontend testing and how to navigate big corps. As part of H&D Spain a notion of digital patriotism pushed me over to help digitalization efforts in the german public sector as a Senior / Lead with Vue 3 and Nuxt 4 for a while.
Recently, I'm shifting towards product: I like to think about features, UX, benefits, and all "that" meta-information of a product to create something people actually love to use.
Currently based in Barcelona with German roots.
